February 21, 2007:
Well, because you all kept pestering and pestering and pestering me about it, yes, here we go, a nice update. Long overdue, yes, I'm aware.

There are going to be some changes here, though, since this is a major update. For starters, the announcements section's going to be here and will cover everything except for the Mitsukai area (that'll have it's own update section) and the stuff with Megami or Anime USA (there are other sites for that information).

Second, for right now, just the artwork (Sight), music (Pure) and email (Contact) pages are up. I'll be getting things up to speed during the course of the week, for sure this time!

Lastly, things are going to be slower around here (no, not as slow as they have been, but slower than my earlier prolific periods), simply because I have dozens of other things going on at the moment.

By things going this way, I'm hoping to make them more worth your while. Thanks again for the patience

Okay, so I'm a few weeks early....

Hey, considering that this is going on, most of you shouldn't complain. I skipped the Spring update just to make sure I had the time to do this.

Well, Mitsukai is now an active and integrated part of Tokyo Teleport here. All the stuff you remember from that portion of my writings is there, and though there's nothing new on that side at the moment, I'm hoping to rectify that in the near future.

Additionally, I've now added pure to the mix. pure is going to be a little more active than the quarterly song section of Tokyo Teleport was; ideally I'm hoping to make it weekly or so, but at the minimum, it should be monthly. Additionally, it will also be the MP3 blog for Mythecaria visitors, so that should guarantee a little more variety as well - my wife listens to a range of stuff different than I.

There's also some new pictures up here on TT, and a new short story, one that my wife and I co-wrote; hope that should keep you busy until the next install.

Well, back to work. Gotta keep things flowing here, and now that everything's in one place, I have to actually do some updating stuff to it. ^_^;;;

Spring Update

The spring update should be coming soon. There's a few things I have to do still before I can pull it off: the moving of Mitsukai, some button redesigns (basically because I lost the original buttons when my hard drive died) and get used to Poser 6 and Shade 7, both of which just came in the mail yesterday.

There's also been some movement on the Megami side of the house as well, so don't forget to check there. As things start to go faster, there's going to be a lot of intermixing between the two, so hopefully you'll get to see some interesting digital magic going on.

Again (everyone, sing along!), I apologize for the delay, but hopefully after this month, there'll be some progress around here, and not just some Piro-style whining. ^_^;;;

For those interested....

New stuff is finally going on with my company-in-progress, Megami Studios. For those who are interested in finding out about this, there's two ways:

One is the interactive development blog, while the other is our less interactive but still useful mailing list. Generally, if you want to get a hold of the Megami crew and ask on the status of our projects (the upcoming manga Hana Road Fruit Party and the anime-genre novel Shibuya Beats), the devblog is the place to go. If you just want the information, then I recommend the mailing list.

Of course, any questions about Mitsukai/Tokyo Teleport will still be answered here. ^_^

ja ne,
-Rob

Hopefully, the comments buttons should be turned on now. Feel free and give it a whirl. But keep it clean, please.

Joy....

Well, finally got my hand on that harddrive I was planning to get my stuff off of. Unfortunately, it's toast. Bad toast. So I'm pretty much screwed in the way I'm dealing with things right now. It's going to take a little longer to get Mitsukai moved over and updated (mainly because I lost the planned design on the other drive - as well as the design template for the current TT design). Sorry about all of this.

In other bad news, the drive loss also cost me my only remaining copy of Yuki, my novel in progress. I do have another copy somewhere, but that's going to take me a bit to dig up. So looks like that's not going anywhere. If anything, I may have to push Shibuya Beats after all as my novel idea. That's going to be challenging, as I've got to avoid the Shingetsutan Tsukihime trap (since they beat us to market first even though SB is older, obviously there's going to be some problems there).

Looks like it's going to be an interesting 2005 to be sure.

Merry Christmas (Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Solstice, whatever your choice is), everyone!

Because I'm trying to make this the best blog I can, from now on, I'm going to be putting the regular posts in a blog format now, so that those of you who read on a regular basis can give me opinions (cheers, jeers, hatemail, etc.) as I go along. It's something new, and something experimental, but as I transition from fanfic writer to professional manga author and novelist, I need to keep better touch with those who view my site.

Feel free to comment (as soon as I turn on the comments - still having some problems with the "home CSS) and let me know what you think. ^_^

PS - for those of you who have LiveJournal-type blogs, my friend Lish has made some icons that you're welcome to have over at http://www.livejournal.com/users/kyleia/2730.html
